A Little About Me

My journey to becoming a celebrant began, in all places, a butchers shop.

This was where I first learned the art of connection and kindness. Young and passionate, I would always zone in on the grumpy, out-of-sorts or impatient customers and make it my personal mission to make them smile (or even better - laugh!) and as a result, soon had customers who would let others go before them, because they know we’d end up having a nice long chat!

Connecting with others has never been a challenge for me because I love the change we can bring when we simply spend time with another person. It’s why I am so honoured to be the person who will bring your event to life. From celebrating your union to celebrating a life, when we allow ourselves to deeply feel our emotions, we are experiencing something magical. True human connection is a gift, and I am humbled to share it with you, and your family and friends.

I have known love, pain, grief and joy on my own winding path of life. My nurturing and stable nature often makes me a confidante and the person those close to me turn to in their greatest and most devastating moments. I don’t believe in “cookie-cutter” when it comes to celebrating life’s biggest events. I believe in digging deeper and finding enrichment through the sharing of incredible moments, and never turning away from tears, laughter and everything in between.
